How to Send Videos via SMS / Text Message

Can I send text message campaigns from WebPrez?

At this time, WebPrez does not offer built-in SMS campaign sending.

Due to recent changes in A2P (Application-to-Person) messaging regulations, platforms are no longer able to send text messages on behalf of users without complex registration and compliance requirements.

The Good News

It’s still very easy (and often more effective) to send your videos via text message using your own phone or SMS platform.

Most advisors prefer this approach because:

  • Messages feel more personal and direct
  • Deliverability is higher
  • You stay fully compliant

  1. Log into your WebPrez account from your phone
  2. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner
  3. Tap Videos
  4. Find the video you want to send (browse or search)
  5. Tap on the video
  6. Scroll below the video to find the Video URL
  7. Tap “Copy link”

Your video link is now copied to your phone’s clipboard.

Step 2: Paste into a Text Message

On iPhone:

  1. Open the Messages app
  2. Start a new message or open an existing conversation
  3. Tap and hold in the message field
  4. Tap Paste
  5. Add a short personal message (optional)
  6. Tap Send

On Android:

  1. Open your Messages app
  2. Start a new message or open a conversation
  3. Tap and hold in the message field
  4. Tap Paste
  5. Add a short message (optional)
  6. Tap Send

Option 2: Use Your CRM or SMS Platform

If you’re using tools like:

  • GoHighLevel
  • RadiusBob
  • Redtail
  • Any SMS campaign platform

You can simply:

  1. Copy your WebPrez video link (same steps above)
  2. Paste it into your SMS message or campaign

What Happens When They Click?

Your contact will be taken to your personalized WebPrez video page, which includes:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Your call-to-action
  • Lead capture form (if enabled)
  • Calendar link (if enabled)

This keeps the experience centered around you, not a third-party platform.

Best Practices for SMS

  • Keep it short and personal
  • Use their name if possible
  • Add context (don’t just send a link)

Example:

“Hey John — I made this quick video to explain how this works. Let me know what you think.”
