How to add a new Contact to an existing Campaign

Adding new contacts to your campaigns is a fundamental task that keeps your outreach efforts growing and effective. This guide will walk you through the simple process of adding a single contact to any of your existing campaigns in just a few minutes.

Navigate to the Campaigns section in your dashboard

First, you'll need to access your campaigns area where all your marketing campaigns are managed. From your main dashboard, locate and click on the Campaigns tab in your navigation menu. This will take you directly to your campaigns overview page at https://app.webprez.com/dashboard/campaigns.

You should see a list of all your active and past campaigns displayed here. This is your central hub for managing all campaign-related activities, including adding new contacts.

Select the Campaign where you want to add your new Contact

Now it's time to choose which campaign needs the new contact. Browse through your list of campaigns and identify the one you want to work with. For example, if you're looking to add someone to your "Business Life" campaign, you'd click on that specific campaign name.

Once you click on your chosen campaign, you'll be taken to that campaign's detailed view. Here you can see existing contacts, campaign performance, and various management options. Take a moment to confirm you're in the right campaign before proceeding.

Click the Add New Contact(s) button to open the Contact addition interface

Within your selected campaign's page, look for the Add New Contact(s) button. This button is typically prominently displayed since adding contacts is a frequent task. Click on this button to open up the contact addition interface.

The system will present you with options for how you'd like to add contacts to this campaign. You might see options for bulk imports or individual additions – we'll be focusing on adding a single contact.

Choose Add Contact to create a single new Contact entry

After clicking the Add New Contact(s) button, you'll see different options for adding contacts. Select Add Contact to proceed with adding a single new contact. This option is perfect when you have one specific person you want to include in your campaign.

Choosing this option will open a form specifically designed for entering individual contact details. This ensures all the necessary information is captured correctly for your new contact.

Enter all required Contact information in the provided fields and click Create

You're now at the final step! The contact form will display various fields for you to complete. These typically include:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (if applicable)
  • Company or organization
  • Any custom fields specific to your campaign

Fill in all the required fields marked with asterisks or highlighted as mandatory. Double-check the email address for accuracy – this is crucial for successful campaign delivery. If your contact is from California, for instance, you might need to select "CA" from a state dropdown menu.

Once you've entered all the necessary information and reviewed it for accuracy, click the Create button to finalize adding your new contact. The system will process your request and add the contact to your selected campaign immediately.

You should see a confirmation message indicating your contact has been successfully added. The new contact will now appear in your campaign's contact list and will be included in any future campaign activities you initiate.

Quick Tips for Success

  • Always verify email addresses before clicking Create to avoid bounced messages
  • Consider adding notes about how you met this contact or why they're relevant to this campaign
  • If you have multiple contacts to add, you can repeat this process or explore bulk import options for efficiency

Congratulations! You've successfully added a new contact to your campaign. This person will now receive your campaign communications and contribute to your growing network of business connections.
