How do I know if my Campaign video emails are being delivered?

When you send a WebPrez Campaign, it’s natural to wonder:

👉 “Are my emails actually reaching people?”

The short answer is: yes — and you can track meaningful engagement directly in your dashboard.

How Email Delivery Works

WebPrez currently sends campaign emails using a trusted delivery platform (SendGrid), which is used by many large companies to reliably send high volumes of email.

This system uses industry-standard authentication methods like:

  • SPF
  • DKIM
  • DMARC

These help email providers (like Gmail, Outlook, etc.) verify that your emails are legitimate and safe to deliver. (SendGrid)

👉 Once an email is accepted by the recipient’s mail server, it is considered “delivered.” However, whether it lands in the inbox vs. spam depends on several factors (more on that below).

What You Can Track in WebPrez

WebPrez tracks the metrics that matter most for your business:

  • Clicks / Video Views (primary signal)
  • Opens (available in reporting)
  • Unsubscribes
  • Bounces (undelivered emails)

When someone clicks to watch your video, you’ll receive a notification — because that’s the strongest indicator of real interest.

👉 This is why WebPrez focuses on Clicks/Views over Opens.

Important: “Delivered” vs “Seen”

Even with the best systems:

  • An email can be marked “delivered” but still land in:
    • Promotions tab
    • Spam folder
    • Or simply be ignored

Email providers determine placement based on:

  • Sender reputation
  • Recipient engagement
  • Email content and behavior (SendGrid)

👉 That’s why engagement (clicks) matters more than delivery alone.

What to Expect (Especially Early On)

If you’re just getting started:

  • It’s normal to see lower clicks in the first 1–2 weeks
  • Engagement typically improves as:
    • Contacts recognize your name
    • They receive multiple touches
    • Trust builds over time

👉 Campaigns are designed to build momentum, not produce instant spikes.

🚀 Upcoming Upgrade: Sending from Your Own Email (Gmail & Outlook)

We are currently rolling out a major upgrade that will improve deliverability even further.

What’s Changing

You’ll be able to connect your:

  • Gmail / Google Workspace
  • Microsoft 365 / Outlook / Hotmail

Why This Matters

Instead of emails coming from a platform sender, they will come directly from:

👉 your actual email address

This has major benefits:

  • 📬 Higher inbox placement (emails from real people are trusted more)
  • 🤝 More personal and familiar to recipients
  • 💬 Replies go directly to your inbox and thread naturally
  • 📁 Emails appear in your Sent folder
  • 🚫 No shared sender reputation risk

Important Notes

  • Gmail and Microsoft are moving toward OAuth-based authentication for security, replacing older login methods (Google Help)
  • This ensures your account stays secure while allowing WebPrez to send on your behalf

There will be some limits (daily sending caps), but for most advisors, this results in better deliverability and stronger engagement.

💡 Best Practices to Improve Deliverability

Even with great infrastructure, your results depend on how you use the system:

  • Send to people who know you
  • Keep your list clean (no cold or purchased lists)
  • Stay consistent with your campaigns
  • Use clear, relevant messaging
  • Focus on video engagement, not just opens

Bottom Line

  • WebPrez ensures your emails are sent reliably and tracked properly
  • The most important signal is who clicks and watches your videos
  • Deliverability improves over time with consistent use
  • Upcoming upgrades will allow emails to be sent directly from your own inbox for even better results
