How do I insert the videos into my seminar slides / PowerPoint?

At this time, WebPrez videos cannot be directly embedded into PowerPoint or Google Slides.

We understand this can be frustrating — especially if you’re used to dropping videos directly into slides and having everything play seamlessly.

❌ Why not?

  • Google Slides only supports videos from YouTube or Google Drive (no iframe or third-party embeds)
  • PowerPoint removed iframe embed support and now only allows certain providers or add-ins (like WebViewer)

Since WebPrez videos are hosted on our platform, they aren’t supported for direct embedding in either tool.

The best and most reliable approach is to link to your video from within your slide.

How to do it:

  • Add a button, image, or text like “Watch Video”
  • Insert your WebPrez video link
  • Click it during your presentation to open and play the video

🌐 Important

You’ll need an active internet connection during your presentation for the video to load and play.

💡 Pro Tip

This method actually works very well in:

  • In-person meetings
  • Zoom / Teams presentations

You stay in control of when the video plays, and you can immediately guide the conversation afterward — which is where these videos tend to be most effective.
